 Happy New Year!

One thing is for sure - we'll be living in the most advanced society the world has ever witnessed. Some of us have just got used to Email - now I'm told it's out of date - on to Face Book and Twitter - and via the latest tablet or mini lap-top too!

 Another trend in society currently is religious or spiritual decline - but oh what an oxymoron! No amount of high tech advance or material prosperity can substitute one's faith in the living God. In fact the more educated and better off you are materially, the more you need God! Now that sounds like an oxymoron! Some have stated that we now live in a "post-Christian Era" - that is definitely an oxymoron! There can NEVER be a "post-Christian Era - the moment the Christians disappear, it will be all over!

This year in 2012, we have the greatest opportunities to share our faith with our high tech and prospering society. I'm looking forward to it especially at Lighthouse where we will band together and unashamedly present our glorious Gospel to our contemporary society. We are committed to this vision - shining the Light, that is never outdated, and is more relevant as the days go by. Join us this year in our joyful journey.
