Ps Jeremy Fernando
Senior Pastor
Pastor Jeremy Fernando has a love for Jesus Christ and a passion for His Word. He was raised in Melbourne and attended Lighthouse Christian Church as a child and young adult before moving to Merimbula, NSW in 2004.
Along with his wife Janita and five daughters, he lived on the Far South Coast of New South Wales until 2023. From 2016 – 2022 he was the Senior Pastor of Sapphire Life Church, a new ACC church launch. During their time on the Sapphire Coast, Jezz ran a successful physiotherapy business and Janita had her own dance school.
They launched Sapphire Life Opportunities (a community food pantry and connection centre) in 2019 and made a significant contribution to disaster relief through the Black Summer Bushfires of 2020.
In 2023 Jezz responded to the call of God to serve as Senior Pastor at Lighthouse Christian Church. Jezz and Janita are a dynamic duo who believe in faith that is demonstrated in everything they do - all to bring glory to one name, the name above all names, Jesus Christ!
